Mr Joseph varghese is very polite and understanding consultant and general surgeon. He has gone above and beyond for me in every operation even with the surgery other consultants wouldnt attempt .The after care has been brilliant to. You know you are in great hands everytime

I cannot fault the care and dedication I have received from Mr Varghese and his team from my very first appointment through my operation and after care right through to my recent discharge. Every step of the way Mr Varghese and his team have shown dedication, professionalism and at the same time kept my spirits up with their ability to make me laugh.I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have been a patient of Mr V as he is affectionately known to his colleagues and believe Bolton Hospital should also consider themselves extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful consultant working for them. As well as being an excellent surgeon, Mr Varghese is totally adept at explaining the procedure and putting the patient at ease. I had a hernia repaired and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I have undergone a few medical repairs conducted by Mr Varghese and his teams. He is able to explain clearly and succinctly the forth-coming procedures with clarity and empathy. I especially liked the pre-op greeting from Mr V before having the anaesthetic, which helped set the scene for a calm and professional operation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr V, should anyone require abdominal surgery, and feel that he is a credit to the profession, a caring, empathetic and totally committed practitioner. Mr Varghese is a kind, considerate and caring man, he is a surgeon of the highest calibre who leads a team that are a credit to the NHS. I underwent major surgery, pre and post operative care from Mr Varghese has been excellent. I cannot thank Mr Varghese enough, so grateful that I was placed under his medical care. There are no areas that require improvement.
